Home & Interior Design Studio

Kirsten Gilliam our interior designer is originally from Greensboro, NC but began her design career in Charleston, SC. There she worked for 2 different boutique interior design firms where she was involved in projects ranging from historical downtown Charleston residences to mountain getaway homes in the Cashiers, NC area. She then spent several years as the buyer and interior designer for a high-end furniture and gift store. There she learned the ins and out of the retail side of things, all while expanding her design portfolio.

A unique opportunity led Kirsten to an AR Homes Design Studio along the coast of South Carolina where she was the sole interior designer and managed their studio for several years. In additional to helping clients furnish their new homes, she first assisted buyers with the selections process for all aspects of their custom-built homes. While at the design studio, Kirsten designed countless home exteriors, kitchens, bathroom, etc. and grew her knowledge of materials and the construction process.

Kirsten and her family moved to Greenville, SC in the fall of 2019. There she linked up with Bruce Pasquarella to launch a new AR Homes Design Studio to serve his custom home clients in the upstate of South Carolina and western North Carolina. The studio is located in the Old Cotton Warehouse in downtown Greenville. In addition to helping her clients make all of the finish selections for their new custom homes, she offers full interior design services. Through her experiences with two AR Home Design Studios, she has gained a vast knowledge of high-end custom home projects from conception to completion.

Kirsten takes each client’s vision of their space and its intended functionality into account before delving into every project. She seeks to create understated luxury living while ensuring each space has balance and the proper proportions. An enduring style with a cohesive feel is the trademark of each of her projects.
